CLEANING PLUGS
Practical, reusable sealing plugs for barrel or suppressor, available in four sizes. Ideal for internal cleaning with liquid cleaning agents or outdoors as a protection from the elements.
SchleTek Cleaning Plugs have been developed as very useful accessories for suppressor and bore cleaning. The cleaning agent-resistant, reusable sealing plugs made of flexible yet dimensionally stable rubber material are used to close one or both ends of the suppressor or bore during internal cleaning with liquid cleaning agents (e.g. SchleTek Suppressor-Cleaner). The special conical shape of the plugs allows the cleaner to fully cover the bore or suppressor from the inside. Time-consuming subsequent cleaning is not necessary, unlike when using wax or corks. Optimal flexibility of the material prevents the plugs from slipping out, even when used with bore cleaners or gun oils.
On the hunt and in the field the Cleaning Plugs are handy companions that fit in any pocket. They protect the rifle or shotgun bore from entering moisture, rain, snow, dirt, branches and leaves, or other contamination, especially during longer waiting times in adverse weather conditions or when tracking and trailing. Insulating tape or target repair pasters, which leave unsightly adhesive residue and can get out of place easily, or plastic caps to shoot through, which pollute the environment, are a thing of the past.
Available in four sizes:
- from 5 mm to 9 mm (suitable for calibres .22 / 5,56 mm to .32 / 8 mm)
- from 8 mm to 12 mm (suitable for calibres .338 / 8,3 mm to .375 / 10,3 mm)
- from 10,5 mm to 14,5 mm (suitable for calibres .44 to .50)
- from 17 mm to 22 mm (suitable for 12 bore shotguns)
